Ten on Thursday

1. Had a BBQ friday night at Brad and Jolene's. They had a bonfire going all night in their fire pit. I love this time of the year!

2.The weather has been wonderful. mostly in the 60's and 70's, and yesterday it even reached the 80's.

3. last Saturday Dave and I took advantage of the warm weather and tried to work in the yard. hopefully this weekend the weather will stay nice enough for me to trim back all the dead bushes so the green can grow through.

4. We then went over to Brad and Jolene's to work with Millie. Of course Dave insisted on doing the work( something about me getting hurt from the horses). I was able to talk him through a few exercises in the round pin and was happy to see that she did well even with the whole winter off.

5. I did spend some time brushing her , since the winter and mud have kept me away. She really does have a beautiful mane if I keep the knots out.

6. I got burned on saturday, mostly because I forgot about sunscreen. I haven't seen the sun in such a long time.

7. Chief went with me to work on Monday for his neuter. I also had Dr. Rolston tack his stomach at the same time so that we don't have to worry about his stomach twisting. Unfortunately Danes are highly prone to bloat so this surgery will help relieve any fears of coming home to a dead dog. He did really well and has recovered much quicker then I expected.

8.Work threw me a baby shower during our staff meeting last week. They did try to make it a surprise but I was suspicious that they were up to something.

9. I had to leave work early yesterday because the nerve on my left leg was hurting me so bad I couldn't even walk. After trying to deal with it for a couple hours I left because I couldn't even restrain any of the animals. It still hurts some today but at least I can move again.

10. Even though today is my day off I am headed back to work because I was shocked last night to find a huge gash in Barney's arm. I don't know how he got it, but it needs a few stitches.

Ten for the week

1. My friend Jolene through me a small baby shower last saturday. Even though there were only a few of us it was fun to just hang with friends. She had one game where everyone had to guess the flavor of baby food. It was fun to watch people taste the food.

2. Sunday morning I was trying to sleep in a little when all the animals joined me on the bed. Dave couldn't resist so he took a pic. Barney is in his favorite spot under the covers at the bottom of the bed.

3. They finally hired a new girl at work and some how it was decided that I was going to do all of her training. So she comes to work in on the mornings that I work.

4. I was surprised to learn that she really has no experience or knowledge of the job, so I guess I am training her from the ground up. I'm not sure if a month will be enough time, hopefully she is a quick learner.

5. Had the slowest day ever at work yesterday. Just one surgery and one appointment in the morning. after cleaning all morning there was really nothing left to do in the afternoon so I went home really early.

6. Because I was off so early I decided it would be a good time to try out Winco a grocery store that everyone said saves them a bunch of money. There were actually some really great deals, milk for less then 2 dollars is always good. the store actually reminds me a lot of the Food 4 less Kerri and I use to shop at in Provo.

7. Today Brianna graduated from BYU-I. So Dave's family showed up last night and we spent some time visiting with everyone.

8. Luckily I was able to get today off, so I was able to go to Brianna's graduation. I reminded me of how wonderful it felt to graduate and finally be done. now all she needs to do is complete her student teaching.

9. I have received several items from BabyRus, but the labels don't say who they were from so I just want to thank whoever bought the items.

10. I can't believe only six more weeks to go. I almost feel as if I have very thing ready.

8 months

So, I don't really like this picture but it is the only one I could get Dave to take of me. But I thought I would post it anyways since I know a few people want to see how big I am getting. So here it is:

Ten on Thursday

1. Last Friday I made a stop at shopko to check out their furniture after getting the suggestion from Heidi. I was very excited to find that they had just what I was looking for. A glider that reclined and came in a microfiber. I was even more excited to see that the already cheap glider was 50% off for the next two days.

2. So Saturday while I was in Idaho Falls shopping with some friends we stopped by Shopko with the truck so I could get the chair.
3. Dave put the crib together while I was out and I really enjoyed starting to get everything set up when I got home.

4. I haven't really had to many food cravings while I've been pregnant. The first 4 months I mostly had food I could eat and food that couldn't. I do have a tendency to drink more milk now but I don't really ever crave something. Maybe it is because I still have a food aversion, but most of the time I have a hard time deciding what I want to eat because nothing really sounds that good. But I have recently discovered that I love oranges, ok so I've always liked oranges, just now they seem to taste way better. The good thing about oranges is they can be shipped to Idaho from California and they still taste great!

5. The weather was so nice just over a week ago and now winter has returned. It has been snowing all week, but at least not a lot of it has been sticking. Sunday was really fun :(, we got to experience the wonders of sideways snow. The spring winds and snow don't really mix. The wind even manage to blow some shingles off the roof.

6.We still have been staying busy at work, I just glad we have made it through February and March dental months. I am ready to have a break from doing 6-7 dentals a day.

7. They have finally started to look for some new techs. I think they may be cutting it a little close, because they have the tendency to go through 3-4 techs before they find someone they are satisfied with. It would be nice to train someone before I went on maternity leave.

8.I was a little disappointed to discover that here in Idaho most people do not qualify for disability pay while on maternity leave. Something about the company you work for needing to be part of the program. Coming from California where they automatically pull disability from your paycheck I just assumed it was the same here. But this is a "right to work" state where employees have no rights other then the privilege of working. Oh well. I am glad I work where I do though, because they offer us more benefits then other companies.

9. I've been trying to decide how long I should continue to work for. Right now my goal is to work the whole month of April.

10. Wow, this was a boring ten.
