1. Dave had his first softball game Thursday. They almost didn't have enough players, so I agreed to come prepared this week just in case. I guess they are short girls often. I am awful at softball, but at least they won't have to forfeit.
2. They almost won, but lost by one run in extra innings. But at least they all had fun.
3. Went and saw Indiana Jones on Friday. I loved it, if you liked the old films you should like the knew one. A little far fetched, but I always enjoy Harrison Ford and Shia Lebeouf.
4. It rained almost all weekend, so we didn't venture out much, plus gas prices are way too high to travel far.
5. had a moment of stress when we arrived at church. Like always we went and sat down in the back about five minutes before sacrament meeting. right away the bishop walked over to us and asked if we were planning to sit on the stand since we were suppose to be giving talks. talk about panic. we informed him that we didn't know anything about giving a talk. He had thought he asked us last week when he talked about giving us a calling. You could see the momentary panic on his face. Luckily the bishop and one of his counselors were able to fill in the time, but I think that means they will call us soon to actually give a talk.
6. We finally have a calling. We are the ward Librarians. I think it is going to be great. It's pretty easy and allows us to interact with the members of the ward, since it is fairly busy.
7. We decided yesterday we would go and check out the Idaho Falls Zoo. It really is a nice little zoo, just right for the area. They even have a few animals I have never seen before(mostly primates of some sort).
8. The only problem was that shortly after arriving it started to rain. The light drizzle quickly turned into a down pour. I wasn't wearing a hood so by the time we found some shelter I was drenched. We waited it out for a few minutes, once it started to get a little lighter, we quickly made it through the rest of the zoo.
9. It was pretty entertaining watching the tigers, because a couple of ducks had decided to land in their enclosure. one of the tigers was very interested in following them, but eventually got bored. I keep thinking maybe he would try to stalk them, but no luck there.
10. Went out to dinner last night with Brianna to celebrate her birthday!

Ten on Tuesday
1. Now that I finally have my camera back, I doubt that the moose will ever come back.
2. Wednesday Dave had a practice with the park and rec softball team he is playing with. I signed him up to play with my works team.Their old pitcher moved away, so it looks like he may be playing pitcher this year.
3. Since we were already in Idaho Falls late that night, we decided to stop at Texas roadhouse for dinner.
4. Saturday we drove to Idaho Falls to take the boat in to get summerized, memorial weekend usually marks the start of the boating season. I am so excited!!!
5.Stopped at Lowe's while we were there to get some hoses and sprinklers so that we can water our lawn.
6. Everything is starting to get so beautiful here. All the trees covered with leaves and blossoms. I even have tulips.
7. Went to Prince Caspian, and I loved it! But I sure don't remember the story well. I guess it's time for me to find a copy of the chronicles of Narnia and read them once more.
8. It was in the 80's all weekend!!!!!
9. for the first time in a long time I got to sleep in this morning until 9:00. I didn't have anything I had to get up early for!
10. All my shows are ending for the summer, soon there will be nothing to watch. at least so you think you can dance is starting up.

Ten on Tuesday
1. After a week of no moose, he finally reappeared late last week. Saturday Dave did not realize that he was laying about ten feet from him under a tree when the dogs were let loose to run to the car for a ride.Frodo didn't notice, but instead of running to the truck Barney ran straight to the moose. Luckily they both just sniffed and then went their own way.
2. Saturday night we were invited to a dinner with some friends. We had been told that the dinner was won from a local restaurant and we were excited to get a meal cooked just for us. Just imagine our surprise when we arrived and it was actually a presentation on cookware. After listening to all the ways these pans were so much better then the ones we already use we got to eat a few things the presenter had cooked for us.
3. For being such "wonderful" pans(don't need to use water or oil to cook) I was not impressed with the flavor of the food. The man then wanted to meet with each couple in order to try and get us to make a purchase. So we asked how much, just imagine our shock when he pulled out a sheet that stated it would be about $90 a month for 3 years, for a total of $2,800. and that was for their basic set!Are they crazy, who in their right mind would go into debt for pots and pans. they weren't that nice. I happen to think mine are just fine and I think the whole set was less or equal to the price of one item.
4. Seeing as we were still hungry after dinner, Dave and I made a stop at Dairy Queen for some ice cream, yummy!! I love DQ soft serve!
5.Spent most of Saturday working in the yard. I tried to clear out the dead plants and weeds. there is still a lot to do, but it is looking better. Dave mowed the lawn for the first time, and even on the riding lawn mower it took him almost two hours. we have a lot of grass.
6.Tevi is now spending more time out and about, even coming to sit on our laps. mostly when she wants food.
7. I was in complete shock this morning when Dave woke me up to inform me that Piper was nowhere to be found. She never turns down food. after searching every where in the house we came to the conclusion that she must be outside.
8. Dave went out side to look and found her under the deck in the back yard. So my poor indoor cat spent the whole night hiding outside! We decided she must have gotten outside while Dave went outside and just had the screen door shut. She knows how to let her self out the screen door.
9. I thought that I heard a quiet meow last night as we were going to bed, but since I was sure there were no cats outside I just thought I must have been hearing things. I sure did feel bad this morning when I discovered it was actually Piper trying to get my attention to let her back in. She hasn't tried to get outside all day today, maybe a night out in the cold scared her enough not to try it for a while.
10. Although it rained/snowed(mostly rain) a few days over the weekend, it is promising to be a warm weekend this week.

Ten on Tuesday
1. I had a really cool discovery on Thursday. When I arrived home from worked I was amazed to find just outside our back window a bull moose sleeping. He was right next to our deck. I was a little disappointed that my camera was in the FedEx van so I couldn't take any pics. He stayed for a couple hrs and then wandered off.
2. To my surprise he returned the next day, although this time he was sleeping at the neighbors. how awesome that we live somewhere we can see wildlife like this. He continued to show up until Saturday. Saturday he was grazing down our road when a loud truck drove by and spooked him, we haven't seen him since.
3. Spent Saturday morning doing a deep clean of the bathroom. and cleaning the rest of the house. It was really needed.
4. now that it is spring we are starting to be able to work in the yard. bought a sprinkler so we could water our huge yard. I raked a bunch of pine needles, so i can actually see the grass. next week its time to get rid of the plants that didn't survive the winter.
5.Went and saw Made of Honor Saturday with Brianna. I thought it was cute.
6.Saturday night my parents arrived with our cat Tevi. The home where she was could no longer keep her so of course we wanted her back. She doesn't travel real well so it was a long trip for my parents. I am glad they were able to plan some time for here in Idaho as part of their Utah trip this week.
7. Right now Tevi pretty much spends all of here time under our bed, only coming out when she is hungry. I am afraid it is going to take her a while to readjust to the dogs.
8.Spent all day Sunday with my parents and enjoyed BBQ tritip for dinner. After it got dark, which now isn't until 9:00, we went up to the temple to see it all light up. It is so beautiful.
9.Monday it was back to work, my parents left sometime yesterday to make their way down to Utah. Happy Anniversary!
10. Today,I finally had my first dentist appointment here in Rexburg. I actually had a really good experience. I usually dread the dentist, but I somehow picked a great dentist. very comfortable office. I don't think I'll be dreading my next visit!
