We had a great time spending the Christmas holiday with Jeremy and family, even though the were sick most of the week. Nathan just loves when his cousins are around and would ask every morning where is my Logan. For one finally activity we took them to the Children's Discovery Museum. We always have a great time there. I didn't actually see much of what was going on because Brady ended up being really fussy. I think he was tired and over stimulated, so I ended up in a quiet corner while every one else explored the surroundings.

Niles Canyon Train of Lights
The Day after Christmas my parents took all of us on a train ride. Every year they decorate the train in lights for Christmas. Of course the boys all loved the train. It was so great to have so many of Nathan's cousins along for the ride. We love spending time with Kerri, Adam, Aidan, Liam, Jeremy, Cameo, Logan, and Grandma and Papa Bell.

Christmas Morning
Christmas morning Nathan woke up asking to play with his dump truck( his new toy from the fish pond) but once he walk out front to the tree he was distracted by his new bike. He was curious about the Lighting McQueen bike and asked everyone "what's that". Ha ha your new bike silly boy! We had a great time opening presents and enjoyed some sour cream twist before heading over to Dave's family for more presents. Yes living so close to both families sure does make us feel spoiled. Then we went back home for a delicious prime rib dinner. After dinner was done all the girls left to see Les Miserables and it was amazing. I have always loved the play but watching on the big screen with all the emotions to back up the singing, it was just powerful. Really I think the whole theater was crying. What a great way to end the day.
Christmas Eve
I feel like I am way behind on blogging. Last week Dave and I were hit hard by the flu, so I really haven't been doing very much. Here goes my attempt at catching us up through the new year.
Christmas eve we started out by helping Papa make some sugar cookies. Papa makes the best sugar cookies, yum!
Then it was off to Sunnyvale for the Dickson Family Christmas eve gathering. We had lots of fun watching the kids perform the Nativity. Then it was time for the fish pond and everyone got to go fishing for their gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Dickson. We enjoyed just spending this time with family since it has been nearly 5 years since we have been around to join everyone for the holidays.
The cutest sheep ever!

Finally we ended the night opening some new pajamas.
