1. Waited all day Thursday to hear about the arrival of Kerri's baby. Finally Aidan Michael arrived weighing 8lbs 1oz. He is so cute, I can't wait to go and see him next month.
2. Went over to our friend's Ben and Adrianne for a easter brunch on Saturday. Adrianne made cinnamon rolls, yum!
3. Finally made it to the temple on Saturday. You think it would be easy with a temple so close.
4.Didn't really do anything for easter this year. It didn't really feel like easter because we didn't have family to gather with like in the past.
5. I have been feeling bad for the dogs because I know they miss their walks, so i decided to take them out for a sunday walk. They had a great time, although they didn't really enjoy that other dogs that tried to join us. Since we live in the country no one has their dogs locked up.
6. One of the neighbor dogs came all the way out and walked with us on the entire loop. at first Barney and frodo lost it and wouldn't stop barking. So I had a Ceasar Milan moment where I sat them both down, made them stop barking and didn't start waliking untill t hey were ready to ignore the new dog. It actually worked and they quietly walked with the other dog. wow it was like a peaceful, balanced pack. those of you who have seen the dog whisperer would understand.
7.It's still a little crazy a work with techs out sick or on vacation. We are very busy, but short staffed.
8. The weather is still warming up but just not fast enough, it would be great to reach the 50's. But at least the snow is melting fast. I can walk up the front porch stairs now!
9. I am already getting excited for summer, if only it would get here faster.
10.I have decided that i need to get serious about taking off some weight, so I have decided to take soda out of my diet and see how much of a difference it makes. I have also heard you should always eat when you are hungry and never to skip breakfast. So now I try to eat something every morning, and snack during the day so I never get so hungry I binge. I'll just have to see if it makes a difference.

Ten on Tuesday
1. Dave left for California friday after work. It was along day for him. 3 1/2 hrs to Salt Lake then a flight to oakland. He got to Hollister at 1:30 in the morning.
2. Brianna made a 5 course italian dinner for his family. Dave said it was very good. It is exciting to have her home. It will be fun to have her around for the summer.
6. There is a bad cold/flu going around at my work. one of the girls went home early yesterday and ended up at the doctors. She was diagnosed with type 2 flu and won't be back for a week. now the rest of us just have to pray we don't get sick. especially since that is the dangerous flu that they keep talking about on the news.
7. I decided to take frodo in early to my work so that I could groom him before work. When I left the house Barney was very mad. He pushe aside the cutain so that he could see me and frodo leave. He looked so sad.
8.Frodo was very good, he stood very still for me as a shaved his whole body. He was so shaggy. I am sure he feels better now.
9.It snowed thursday and Saturday, but otherwise it has been getting warmer. the highs have reached the high 40's.
10. I keep expecting to hear from Kerri, I am excited for the arrival of her baby. any day now!!!

4. I got finally got my hair cut on Saturday. I decided that it was time to try out some bangs, since that seems to be the trend this year.( I wasn't copying Kerri). I pretty much hated them all day saturday, but now i really like them. I guess after having no bangs for 14+ years I just had to get use to them.
5. It was ward conference and Sunday, so church was only for two hours. Just sacrament meeting. It was a good meeting about preparing for temples, etc.

Ten on Tuesday
1.Dave's van was finally ready Wednesday, so we made a shotgun run down to salt lake after work. We made it home around 1:00 am. So far no more issues with the van.
2.I wasn't really that tired Thursday, but by Friday I was very tired. Unfortunately I had to get up at 4:30 on Saturday to work for the emergency clinic. I then work for 13 hrs. I was so tired by the end of my work week.
3. The bad thing about day light savings is that we lose an hour, but now it is light when I leave work at six and doesn't start to get dark until around 7:00, which i love. I can't wait until it is light until ten. Long , warm summer days!
4. It was a good thing that i got to sleep in this morning. So that I could recover from the lack of sleep last week.
5.Barney is all better and back to his normal self.
6. The snow is really melting fast now. It is all frozen solid now, so the dogs can walk over it where ever they want without falling in. I have to keep a better eye on them because it so much easier for them to leave the yard.
7. as it melts it forms into pools of water and the re freezes at night. so yesterday morning the garage door was frozen to the ground. I had to use a pry bar to release the door from the ground, so i could leave for work.
8. I think I have adjusted to Idaho weather, because yesterday I was hot in my jacket and it was only in the 40's. i guess 40 is warm when most of the winter it was 10 or below.
9. I am very excited that Brianna is coming home this week. Dave is going to be able to fly to Ca for the weekend.

Ten on Tuesday
1.Poor Barney caught a really bad cold from staying at my work a couple sundays ago. He started reverse sneezing on wensday. By Saturday he was no longer eating, had running eyes and a running nose, and was coughing and reverse sneezing. I could just tell he was not comfortable. I felt so helpless to help him. Finally I made it to the store and got him some Benadryl. Soon afterwards he was eating and seemed a little better. He seems better everyday, but still has some very violent revers sneeze attacks, after it stops he seems a little out of breath. I hope just a few more days of Benadryl and he'll be back to himself.
2. Mentioned his sickness to the Doctor's on Monday so they would know a virus was spreading in their Kennels. Soon after several other clients called to inform that their animals were sick also. They had boarded at the same time as Barney and Frodo. Luckly Frodo only coughed for a day and never got worse.
3.Dave's Van was fixcd by friday, so early saturday he got a ride on the salt lake express to temple square. Jeremy was able to pick Dave up and give him a ride to the dealership. Dave got back around 5:00pm. It was a long day.
4. Monday as Dave was heading to wyoming he discovered that his newly returned van was leaking fuel. It had to be towed back to Salt lake. It now is fixed again, but they want to keep it an extra day to make sure there are no other problems. It is a good thing the dealership is picking up the whole bill including the towing.
5.Our taxes are complete, and we are actually getting a little back.
6.Saturday we expreience every kind of weather. It started out warmer (30's) and sunny, then it snowed, then rained, then got very windy, then hailed.
7.even though it snowed last night, it is melting fast now. there is even a patch of green in the back yard. Frodo finally found it today even though it has been there a few days.
8.Watched The Gaurdian, and I was surprised that I really liked it. I'll admit that it made me cry.
9.I am reading a biograghy on how Elizabeth I became queen. And am really enjoying it. It is an exciting read. I am at the part where her sister Mary wants her dead and It is very hard to put it down, I just want to know how she survives.
10.work is a little calmer this week, but I am still staying busy. The road to Dave's route was closed for most of the morning today, but luckly opened around 11:00 so he could get some packages delivered.
