Nathan and Piper

Nathan just loves his animals, probably more then they would like. When ever one is laying on the couch, that is where he wants to be sitting. Most of them will get up immediately and go to another room, but not Piper. She is either the laziest cat ever or just doesn't mind the torture. When she does act tired of it all she meows once and then moves about a foot away. Not really far enough if she doesn't want the attention. Nathan was having so much fun laying on her this week. I tried to get a good video but I accidentally deleted the only OK one, so I will have to try again the next time. Here are a few shots I got with the video cam, not the greatest resolution but you get the idea.

San Fransico Zoo

Friday we decided to check out the San Fransico Zoo. Kerri, Adam, Aidan and Liam we all able to come too. We had a great time walking around the zoo. There is a great childrens zoo there.

Nathan loves to fist bump whenever possible. If you ask him for a bump he will insist on giving one to everyone close by.

                                             

After the zoo we went over to Kerri's house for a little break and then headed to a great restaurant called Claim Jumpers.

We sure had a great time enjoying a break from the snow.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Wednesday my Mom, Kerri, Aidan, Nathan and I headed to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

                  Nathan really enjoyed checking out all the fish.

 Thursday my parents watched Nathan while Dave and I went to a boat/RV show. We had a good time checking out some of the new features of the 2011 wake boarding boats. That evening we joined Dave's parents for dinner at Mavericks for some yummy tri tip. I think it was the longest I had ever left Nathan for. I missed him but is was nice to have some time for just Dave and I.

Best Friends

My favorite part about our visit was getting to spend so much time with Kerri and her boys. It was my first time with Liam and he is such a cutie. Nathan absolutely loved his cousin Aidan. It really makes me wish we could live closer so that they could spend more time with each other. My parents had to car/bikes and Nathan would jump onto his car anytime he saw Aidan ready to go and they would spend all their time riding around the house.

The Jungle

Monday my parents watched all the boys so that we could go shopping at the outlets. I loved being able to go shopping with Kerri. It was great to have someone to help me find some cute clothes. We even stopped and had IN-N-OUT for lunch, yum!

Tuesday we decided to try out a children s play place called The Jungle Island. Nathan had a blast!

Children's Discovery Museum

We spent the last week in California visiting our families. We had a great time visiting both Dave's and my family. I tried to have several activities planned for the week so we weren't just sitting around the house all the time.  Even my sister was able to take the week off and spend the whole time with us in Hollister. We flew into California friday night and Nathan did great on the plane. He did insist on on closing the airplane windows after Dave showed him that the shutter went up and down.
 Saturday morning we meet Kerri and her boys at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. We had a great time exploring. After a full day Dave and I headed over to his parents for some dinner. Here are some of the highlights from our trip to the Museum.

  Nathan loved the water room and was totally soaked after a couple minutes.

His favorite part was putting a ball on the track and then watching it come flying back at him.

We then went upstairs to the toddler room. Where Nathan  spent most of his time throwing the balls into this funnel.
