Camping
This past weekend we joined a group from a boat dealership for a lake campout. The dealership brought a few demo boats and even served dinner for everyone Saturday night. We headed to the Lake Berryessa Friday afternoon. Poor Brady kind of had a rough weekend. The road was pretty winding that last 20 miles and he ended up getting car sick. But we made it to our camp site and set of the trailer we borrowed for the weekend. The next morning the boys were anxious to get down to the lake so they could play in the water. Nathan finally has decided swimming on his tummy is fun. Brady didn't want to spend to much time in the water. It probably didn't help that he had a major reaction to the sunscreen I used. Red blotches and a rash all over. Poor kid, from now on I will stick with the coppertone stuff I had always used before. After lunch the owner of the boat dealership took us out for a ride and the boat we would like to get someday to replace our old boat. Dave got to try surfing behind it and it really had an awesome surf wake. After we let the boys play some more in the lake and all had a great time cooling off. Eventually Brady wanted to sit on me in the shoe and proceeded to fall asleep. After dinner Dave got to ride on another model boat and even got to watch a professional wake surfer. I stayed at camp and put the boys to bed. We got up the next morning ate breakfast and headed home. It made for a fun quick get away, but we all sure we're tired that night.
