Seeing as school started the second week of August this year we had to pack in the rest of our summer fun into the first week of August. Luckily for us my brother Jeremy and his family came to California that week to visit my parents, so we were able to join them for some last minute summer fun!
Monday we joined them at the Monterey Bay Aquarium along with my aunt Margaret and her family. The boys had a blast.
Logan and Nathan were mesmerized by the fish
Nathan, Logan, Cameo, and Lydia
Logan all ready to touch some of the creatures found in tide pools
Daniel, Nathan, Logan, and Brady
Enjoying some fun in the kid zone.
Brady was so tired by the end of the day and was unwilling to cooperate for any pictures.
Darling Lydia
All the cousins: Amber, Lydia, Brady, Logan, Nathan, Daniel, and Nicholas
I really love the Jelly fish exhibit, so beautiful!
And final just Nathan and I (We tried to get Brady in the picture but he threw a screaming fit)

Cabin Getaway
We joined Dave's family at the cabin for a quick weekend the first weekend of August. It is always nice to getaway from it all. We spent Friday and Saturday playing at Pinecrest and then headed home Sunday morning.

JULY
We spent most of our time just around our home this summer, but we did venture out a few times for some fun.
We kept our 4th of July pretty low key this year. We took the boys to a nearby water park to cool off. Nathan had a great time and really loved the Lazy River. He would have spent the entire time in there if we let him. Brady enjoyed the kid zone but got tired after a couple hours and just want to hang out in the shade. After the park we came home barbequed some hamburgers and attempted to enjoy some fire works. It was pretty windy though so we ended up saving a few for another time.
At the end of July, Dave and I were able to go to a Giants game with our friends Jereme and Holley from our time in Rexburg. We had a great time. The Giants played horribly but it was great to catch up with friends. We even decided to ride the ferry over to the park this time and we had such a great view as we left the city that night.

Big Changes
It has been nearly three months and we finally have internet, now to get to updated the blog.
We officially closed on our home on May 30 and moved into our new home a week later. I spent the week before moving painting a couple of the rooms. I wanted to get the office painted because I knew once the furniture was moved in it would be nearly impossible. We have been busy since then unpacking and adjusting to our new surroundings. I think the move was hardest on Nathan who had gotten so use to playing with all his friends at my parents house. He was terribly bored. Once I got most of the unpacking done it was easier for me to focus a little more on his needs. Summer was short this year for us, I really felt like we just finally started finding our groove and then it was time for school to start. We did try to pack in some fun this summer, post to follow.
The backyard is Huge!
I painted the family room this lovely green and the office grey. For now the rest of the house will stay white until I feel more motivated to choose colors.
