I have been trying to be better about taking more pictures of Nathan and the funny things he does because we live so far away from family.
We had our first snow fall on Monday and and it still hasn't melted to I guess that means winter is officially here. Tuesday when we got home from playing with friends, Nathan just stopped and stared at all the white stuff in front of our house.
And then got really upset once I moved him onto the snow. He had fallen forward and caught himself with his hands, I think it surprised him that it was so cold to the touch. I guess it is time to find him some gloves.
Recently Nathan has wanted to help me put away the clean laundry. If he notices any folded clothes he will pick them up and then carry them to me. It is cute but usually means that I have to refold everything. Here he is trying to gather all the socks at once so he can carry them back to the bedroom where I was putting them away.

Happy Halloween !
We have had fun with Halloween this year. Last night we started out the weekend by going to Boo at the Zoo. Every year the zoo decorates for Halloween and then venders come in so the kids can trick or treat. It is usually a great time to go to the zoo because at night a lot of the animals are more active. My friend/babysitter was able to bring Nathan to the zoo so that I could just head over after work.
Enjoying some of his spoil with his friend. They really do treat each other like brothers.
Saturday night we went to the church for the Trunk or Treat.Nathan was so funny. He figured out very quickly that at each car he received a treat so if there was a crowd of kids he would patiently wait for ever other kid to move on and then he would approach the people. And he wouldn't let me skip any of the people, he would drag me back to a missed spot if I tried to move on. He would also very carefully place each piece of candy he was given into his bucket and insisted on holding it the whole time, even when it was too heavy for him to lift.
Getting ready for trick or treating. Isn't he just the cutest!
Always fun to hang out with friends!
Done and ready for bed!

He spent the whole night with a tight grip on my finger. With the huge crowd I think he was scared of losing me.

Pumpkin Carving
Last night We decided to finally carve our pumpkins. Nathan had a great time watching us. He loved helping and would hand over what ever tool he thought we needed. Very Cute!

Just for fun
So at work they display a picture of each employee with their pets in the waiting room. For the past three years my picture was of me and someone else's dog because my own were not in Idaho yet when I first started working there. Finally I decided That if I wanted an updated picture I would need to just take them myself. So last Saturday I had a friend snap a few shots of me and Chief. I thought I would share them just for fun.
A Couple cute shots of Nathan. Not sure what he is upset about ?

During the Photo Shoot Nathan decided he wanted to come and sit on me knee. I guess he didn't want to be left out.
