Ten on Tuesday

It has been a busy couple of weeks, so I will try to update with some pictures.


1.We left for Utah Friday July 24 and stayed with my grandma for the weekend.

2. Saturday morning we went shopping with Kerri, Adam, Cameo, and Jeremy. I was trying to find something to where to Corey's wedding. I wasn't very successful, but eventually found a top to wear with a skirt I already had.


3.After shopping we went over to Jeremy and Cameo's place to go swimming.

4.Sunday everyone came over to my grandma's for church and then all of my Dad's family came over for some dinner. It was great getting to spend so much time with family.

5. Monday morning I left with my Parents to head to Colorado. Nathan did great in the car, although I think 8 hrs is about as long as he can handle.

6. When we got to our hotel Corey and Yoli stopped by for a visit.



7. Tuesday morning we went to the Denver Zoo. It was fun to spend time with Aunt Terri, Sarah, and Travis.

8. Wednesday morning Jeremy and Cameo Joined my parents and me for a little shopping and then we went to the Cheesecake factory for lunch. I had never been there before, it was yummy!

9. Wednesday afternoon we went to the rehearsal for the weeding and then over to Yoli's family for a BBQ. There was lots of great food there!

10. On thursday morning Corey joined the family for some lunch at Red Robin and then we all got ready for the big event.

11. The wedding was beautiful and everyone seemed to have a great time at the reception. It was wonderful to see Corey so happy!

12. Friday my parents drove me back to Rexburg. It was a very long drive!

13. Saturday Dave and I went out on the boat with Kerri, Adam, Jeremy and Cameo. It was great to be able to spend some time playing in the sun.

14. Sunday we blessed Nathan at Church. Thanks Kirstin for the awesome outfit!

15. After church everyone came over to our place for some lunch

16. We had a great time at the Dickson Family reunion this past week. It was here in Rexburg which was nice for me since I could come home every night instead of camping.

Ten on Tuesday

1. Nathan has been sleeping thought the night now almost every night, except on the two nights that I had worked a full day. Maybe he just wanted more time with his mom.

2. I got my hair cut on Thursday. It was long over due and I wanted my hair to look a little better for the up coming wedding. Now if I could just find a new outfit to wear that fits.

3. Chief has been sick this past week with diarrhea and had been keeping me up all night needed to go out. hopefully his meds have started kicking in and I can get some sleep. He is so skinny now that I hope once he is over this bug he will start putting on some weight.

4. Nathan and I have also caught a cold. Hopefully it won't last long I would hate to travel with a sick baby!

5. Dave's sister Krista is in town for a few weeks so we all went together and saw Harry Potter. Nathan did great. I only had to leave once to change his diaper and Dave only got up once briefly when he was crying. Dave thought that the movie was slow and boring. I liked it I thought that they did a good job trying to get all the info in 2 1/2 hrs and i am excited for the final two movies.

6. Took Nathan to his two month doctors appointment and he had to get his first series of shots.

7. I am feeling a little overwhelmed by everything I need to get done by friday. I am trying to get the house and yard looking a little better before everyone shows up in couple weeks for Nathan's blessing. But Since I am leaving for Corey's wedding friday night I really need to get everything done this week.

8. Our grass looks awful. dead and yellow. I just can't seem to water it well enough moving the hose and sprinkler around. Maybe next summer we will get some sprinklers put in.

9. Work has been going good so far. Not too busy!

10. Can't wait for our trip next week. It will be nice to visit with family!

Two months

Wow, I can't believe it has already been two months since Nathan was born. He is growing so fast!

I took him to his two month appointment today and he is doing great. He did really well and was even smiling and cooing at the nurses, that is until they poked him. He seemed to handle his shots really well until about an hour ago and now he cries when ever I touch his legs. poor little man! I gave him some Tylenol for the pain and now he is sleeping. He is also fighting off a cold which he also gave to me but other then sounding congested he doesn't seemed bothered by it.

His two month stats are:

Weight: 10.8 lbs (29%)

Height: 23.5 in. (72%)

So he is still tall and skinny!
