Spring Break

For Spring Break my MIL offered to fly me and the boys to Utah to visit my parents who have recently moved away to Utah. We mostly just visited but those 3 days sure went by fast. Next time we visit Utah I am hoping we have more time and I can make plans to see more friends. The boys had a blast checking out Grandma and Grandpa's new home in Heber City. We also loved all the time we got to spend with my brother and his family. My kids sure to wish we could spend more time with their cousins.

Colin loved flying. Traveling with his car seat worked perfectly and made the flight easy and comfortable.

Thursday  we went to the Jordon River Open House with the kids. It was beautiful and a great opportunity to teach the kids more about the temple.

While we were there we also got to celebrate McKay's Birthday.
We also had a chance to visit my grandma and enjoyed a lunch out to Chuck o Rama. Which was a new experience for the kids. Nathan decided it was the best and wishes we had something like that near us.
Our flight home was really early Saturday morning. I was hoping it would be quick and easy to get through security but there were sure a lot of people taking advantage of the great price for those early flights and we just made it to the gate in time to load. Unfortunately that meant no breakfast for us which turned my normally well behaved kids hangry. I didn't end up being able to get them anything until nearly 10am but food definitely solved the problem. Lesson learned. Get to the airport 2 hrs early or pack a breakfast.
