1. A couple Saturdays ago We managed to make it to Transformers. It was a great action flick. We brought Nathan with us and he got little fussy so I did miss about 30 min of the beginning trying to calm him down. Then I ended up standing for most of the movie, so I will probably get a babysitter for the next movie.
2. Had my 6 week doctors appt last Wednesday and everything looked great. I was surprised that somehow I made it through all the waiting without Nathan crying.
3. We left for Burley Idaho friday morning to enjoy the 4th with our friends Sam and Jenny and their family. The river there is wide enough for boating and they have a fireworks show that launches from the shore.
4. We visited with Sam's family friday afternoon and then we took the boat out just to check out the river. We always have a good time with Sam and Jenny and their two boys.
5. Saturday We spent the day at the river enjoying the warmth and the water. It was fun to get to surf again and I think everyone else enjoyed the wakeboarding.
6. Nathan handle the whole day really well. There was just one incident when a jet skier thought it would be funny to swamp the boat. Jenny happened to be holding Nathan at the time and both of them got drenched. Of course the shocked of the cold water upset him but after changing his clothes he was much happier.
7. That night we went back out on the river to watch the fireworks. It was fun to just sit in the boat and watch the show.
8. We headed back to rexburg that night and got in a little after 2 am. After feeding Nathan he was asleep by 3:30 and luckily didn't get up until 8:30.
9. Yesterday I went back to work for a half day. It was hard to leave Nathan but everything went well. I am glad that i have someone i can trust to leave him with there is just no way that i could have left him already at a daycare.
10. I'll be working every other day, which is nice since I can spend all day tuesday and thursday with Nathan.

Ten on Tuesday
1. I am finding it hard to motivate myself to write one of these entries during the past two weeks.
2. It was great having my mom around the last two weeks. It has been really nice not worrying about dinner and the house. Also when I just needed a little more sleep I was happy to have her around to hold Nathan.
3. Since I am still not suppose to drive for a few more days it has been nice to have someone around that could take me to my doctor appointments. And run to the store when we were running low on supplies.
4. Went to Nathan's two week check up and he is doing great. He has passed his birth weight. I was a little worried the week before because he wasn't gaining weight like the lactation nurse wanted him to, but he has seemed to make up for the slow start.
5. Went out to dinner friday night with the usual group. It was nice to get out of the house but the timing didn't seem quite right because Nathan was fussy most of the time which made it difficult for me to eat.
6. Mom left early sunday morning and I think it was stressing me out a little knowing I was going to be on my own. It's a good thing Dave's mom showed up sunday night.
7. Once again had problems with our septic tank yesterday, So we took Nathan over to Jesse's in the morning so I could take a shower.
8. The plumber didn't make it to the house until 10 this morning, which was much to long to go without a working bathroom. I am just glad it was fixed.
9. Dave's mom drove me to Idaho Falls today so I could take Nathan to my work. They were excited to see him and I was able to pick up some much needed cat food.
10. Dave went to see Star Trek on friday with a group of guys from our ward. He said it was really good. It looks like I will have to wait until it comes out on dvd.
